If you suddenly become unable to earn a paycheck due to illness, pregnancy or an accident, short-term disability insurance can replace a portion of your income during the initial 13 weeks of your disability after a 7 day elimination period.

Long-Term Disability Plan

If you are disabled for more than 13 weeks, Long-term disability insurance can provide a steady stream of income to help cover essential expenses during an extended illness or after a disabling accident. Additional benefits include assistance obtaining Social Security Disability Benefits, Nurse Consultant or Case Manager Services, Vocational Analysis, and return-to-work incentives.
